Video Production is alternatively known as videography, the process of capturing moving images on electronic media (e.g., video tape, direct to disk recording, or solid state storage like a tapeless camcorder) or even streaming media. The term includes production and post-production processes. It is similar to filmmaking, but with images recorded electronically instead of film stock.

A video production can vary in style and content from a family making home movies with a prosumer camcorder, a one solo camera operator with a professional video camera in a single-camera setup, a videographer with a sound recordist, to a multiple-camera setup shoot in a television studio.
Styles of shooting may vary; we shoot on a tripod; on trolley, on track, on crane, or on shoulder. We also use a Steadicam for smooth movement as the camera operator incorporates cinematic techniques moving through rooms.
